The eastern room is dedicated to reflection, an
exciting mix of real and multimedia forms of expression.
Films of artists and workshops are shown in a 'private'
setting.
Slide shows, photo objects, and text presentations thematicize
creativity in five areas:
 The city as
workshop- The city as object to be
repaired
- Repairs - enacted and
provisory
- Repairing man and
nature
- The irreparable

 Images of exemplary places where repairs are or have been
made, of renaturalized monocultures where rain forests now grow,
construction sites where buildings and city centers are being
restored and which document repairs in very different social and
cultural conditions throughout the world - including objects which
are irreparable. |

The artistic transformation is documented.
Professional workshops are contrasted with improvised ones and to
mutant tools: |

werk_zeuge are
suitcase objects for "do-it-yourselfers" on vacation, workplaces
for nomads, "Test Arrangements for the Correction of Rooms Gone
Awry".

toolboxes show the
fluctuation between goal-oriented, craftsmanlike actions and the
apparently unsystematic artistic processes of creation. Objects
which have mutated into artworks through creative 'mistakes' show
the complex processes of artistic creativity which are comparable
to the processes of repair.

for presentations. Research results from the Technical University
in Munich are presented as creative spaces; book presentations on
specific subjects and art performances can be carried out
